For several years, I have been photographing this family at their home and enjoying every session. It's one my few film-only sessions and you never know what is going to happen. With the bubble shot, I remember wondering and hoping that it worked. But that's the magic of film - you have to stay in the moment and cross your fingers! The "peek-a-boo" image is one of my favorites for the year. Getting two kids to do the same thing at the same time is one challenge, but then add in the pressure of the holiday card and a sibling relationship. It was a split second, but we got it. And they did the perfect thing - all without me telling them what to do!
